just got off a private client call wit a artist that “made it”….
yup, 10’s of thousands of “fans”….
life changed….
public figure….
sounds sweet right?
well have u ever REALLY stopped to think what the price of fame is?
the problem is many don’t….
even i didn’t….
and what happens is you start to realize certain things…
i’m not famous… i’m actually more happy about that now, then when i was trying to get on…
u know me…
people in the game know me…
but i’ve been able to stay in the back… in the cut…
where i prefer…
see the problem is that when some people get “on”, they lose it…
what’s that it?
well, for some… check that… for MOST, first thing to go is their privacy…
and sometimes it’s their peace of mind…
u know that a lot of what killed michael was “Stress”…
yeah propofal was the actual drug….
but what often does people in, is the stress and the pressures of success…
no longer do you have time to “think” the way u once used to…
people depend on you…. friends depend on you….
your bills are higher…expectations are higher… everything gets kicked up a notch…
and sometimes amplified beyond control…
not everyone is BUILT for that….
and some people are…..
you very well might be one of them….
a lot of the producers and artists i help often say they want to be heard and affect the world…
that’s a BIG responsibility…..
however, one thing i’ve found is that once you’re able to market yourself enough to make a living
with the talent you have…. being the #1, or the top producer in the world, may not be AS important as u
once THOUGHT it was…
look, i’m not telling you to aim low…
aim high….
aim higher than that…
it’s critical to your success
but what you might realize is that all u wanted was to be independent…
to be free… to live life on your own terms….
that’s what i show you how to do….
i can’t “teach” you with certainty to become the #1 producer in the world…
that’s not what i’m teaching you… i’m showing you how to make your own money
and be your own person through and through….
that might be worth more than a platinum plaque in a weird way….
i know a lot of people that are unfortunately a slave to their success…
